The Central Database Project aims to systematically collect, standardize, and manage data from various sources within the Research Institute of Oncology, Hematology, and Cell Therapy (RIOHCT). Our mission is to create a centralized, secure, and accessible data infrastructure to support cutting-edge research in oncology, hematology, and cell therapy.

Project Milestones

Phase 1: Infrastructure Setup

Cloud VPS, database, and backup setup; Linux server and website deployment (In Progress).

Phase 2: Data Model Design

Identify existing systems, design PostgreSQL schema, and document data models (In Progress).

Phase 3: Data Loading

Clean and migrate existing data, define access levels, and establish REST APIs.

Phase 4: Operational Transition

Enforce API-based software connections, provide technical documentation, and maintain the system.

Data quality is ensured through rigorous quality control (QC) checks, with statuses like Valid, Corrected, or Flagged for manual review.
